Continuing their collaboration with Poltrona Frau, Toogood present LIE LOW. A large, squashy, cloud-like bed. LIE LOW captures the same modern, effortless elegance proposed with SQUASH - their first collaboration with Poltrona Frau. Toogood bring their soft and sculptural design language to Poltrona Frau’s pioneering leather craft. Rather than stretch leather taught, LIE LOW celebrates softness with chubby supple lines and relaxed upholstery. The leather is allowed to crinkle and gather, creating a statement bed that looks as comfortable as it feels. LIE LOW also features a bedside table designed with the same curving line of the bed’s headboard. On its stubby feet, LIE LOW looks as if it is floating... Ready to carry you off into a dream. 

“I have been working with the artisans at Poltrona Frau for a couple of years now. There’s nothing they don’t know about leather craft. I want to celebrate the hands-on knowledge and skill of the workshop, but propose new ways of thinking about process and material. Rather than being perfectly taught, the leather Lie Low is wrinkled, giving it movement and malleability. It’s a bed that entirely embraces you.”
